The Durango Kennel Club (DKC) is a licensed American Kennel Club (AKC) based in Durango, Colorado, and dedicated to the advancement of purebred dogs. About Us

The Durango Kennel Club has a strong commitment to Four Corners communities, as is demonstrated by their sponsorship of the 4-H Dog Project, the provision of reasonably priced dog training classes (for the pet dog), and the support of Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certification.  In addition, the Durango Kennel Club holds an annual three day dog conformation show and obedience trial that is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club.

Meetings of the Durango Kennel Club are held at 7:00 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. NOTE: The Location for monthly meetings is at the La Plata County Fairgrounds unless otherwise noted.
